Ok so I was at my violin teacher's studio class performance-thingie on Halloween in the afternoon and there's this 9 year old girl named Crystal who went last and OH MY GOD she was AMAZING! She was going into like 5th position! I only learned that LAST year! Well turns out Crystal has been on Sesame Street (you know, like when they got Yo Yo Ma to play) and stuff. She has her own manager. She's practically famous! So I ask her, "Did you meet anyone famous?" and she goes "No [shaking her head]. Oh wait, yeah, Michelle Obama."
SHE'S MET MICHELLE OBAMA! I AM SOOOOO JEALOUS! AND I KNEW RIGHT AWAY MY ASIAN MOM WOULD BE ALL LIKE, "OH MY GOD WHY AREN'T YOU AS GOOD AS HER? WHY CAN'T YOU HAVE GOOD POSTURE LIKE HER? WHY CAN'T YOU BE LIKE HER?"
