YAY! WE HAD A GEOMETRY QUIZ YESTERDAY AND I GOT A 96%! THAT'S PRETTY GOOD (FOR ME)!
OMG so yesterday my dad was all like, geometry is fun! And I was like, not if when you get something wrong you FAIL! And then he was like lecturing me on this math problem he couldn't solve during some competition (probably math counts or something) in high school and he "only figured it out in the last few years." And he showed me and it made NO SENSE at ALL! And he didn't win that competition by the way, he got second place. I was like, "shame on you, daddy! Second place isn't good enough! You have to get first! And even when you get first you have to do BETTER! Cause thats how asians are!" and he started laughing.
Too bad he doesn't understand that I am serious.

ReplyDeleteOMG my dad was like that too! He was the first in his class through all his school years, and once, he came in second. He was so freaked out and so scared to tell his parents that, and when he did, they just said "Do better next time." And he still remembers walking home and telling his mom!
