Another Thanksgiving Party

On Friday my parents had a party at my house. It was kinda a dud. This girl called Amy came. She told Michelle (my younger sister) and me that she was “Eleven. And a half. So technically twelve [shrug].” She was kinda weird. Her mom gave us gift cards from Target (lolz). And she wrote our names on in the house right in front of our faces which I assume means she didn’t know our names before she got to our house which is downright rude considering she’s friends with my parents. And then she gave Michelle’s gift card to me, and mine to Michelle! Michelle and I looked at them, looked at each other, and almost burst out laughing. Then at dinner Amy’s dad was all like “Kids shouldn’t be allowed in the dining room, they’ll spill juice all over the carpet and table! (in Chinese, of course)” It was so annoying and I WAS GOING TO SCREAM IN HIS FACE!


First of all, we weren’t even kids! We were all teenagers, except for Danny. And Danny really likes food so I don’t think he’s gonna spill his food anytime soon.

Second of all, we weren’t even drinking juice! We were drinking soda! (such a big difference!)

Third of all, the grown-ups took up the kitchen table so how do you expect us to sit there?

Lastly, IT WASN’T EVEN HIS HOUSE! SO HE SHOULDN’T STOP WORRYING ABOUT MY HOUSE AND START WORRYING WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF WE GOT OUR HANDS ON HIM!

He was so stupid and ugly and old and annoying and he was talking about “the kids (me, Dora, Penny, Anna, Danny)” like we weren’t even there, or like we couldn’t understand Chinese so it didn’t matter if he was practically shouting (hello, we ARE Chinese!), or like we were “below” him and the adults or something! I was gonna kick him out of the house if I wouldn’t have gotten grounded afterwards! I actually really hate Amy’s entire family! Well, Amy was ok but she was really weird and I don’t really like her that much either but I don’t really have anything against her.

And then my mom told us to eat this soup that Amy’s dad made!? We were like, “We ain’t eatin anythin’ that old guy made or touched!”

OMG THAT GUY WAS SO OBNOXIOUS!!!!!!!
