Sorry I haven't posted in so long, I've just...haven't. I guess. I did have time, but I was working on stuff and...well...anyway.
One Sunday...I don't remember the date. Sometime in July. We went crab-fishing! With family friends. I don't know where, but it was really fun and exciting, if tiring. Some pictures:
My sister Michelle and my friend Emily.
Me, Michelle, and Emily. Like my hat? Lol it's camouflage print. I'm wearing the maroon sweater, My sister's the short one, and Emily's...well, obvious now.
My sister and Isabella, Emily's younger sister. So cute!
Us...
Michelle.
Cool sparkly water! I took this and refused to let my mom delete it lol. I can be obstinate (YAY! SAT word) when I want to.
This really reminded me of this part in Through the Looking Glass (sequel to Alice in Wonderland) by Lewis Carrol. When she's rowing a boat with the goat or llama or whatever it was...and stopped to pick rushes? I don't know what the plants are but it's fun to say rushes over and over again.
Awesome crab that's holding a piece of ice.
I don't know why, but the bait is chicken. You attach the chicken to a net and then you throw the net into the water and every once in a while you lift it up to see if you caught any crabs. This is for those who've never been crabbing before.
Isn't this picture pretty? I'm gonna be modest and say: I'm a photographical genius! And I don't care if that's not a word ;)
the camouflage hat! :D
ReplyDeleteYour blog looks SO cool now!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the chicken bait. It seems as though chickens frequently fall into the water and crabs... gobble them up...
mandy: lol yeah ;)
