Cutest Baby Ever!!
So I never got around to posting all these pictures. I was looking at them earlier and was struck by how cute Sarah is (my grandma hasn't been babysitting her lately. I think she went to pre-school or something). I just want to hug her all day long.

Scholastic MATH magazine
LOL the Scholastic MATH magazine is pretty funny. Like they have Taylor Swift on the September 6, 2010 issue (my sister brought it home from school). And the page that the “article” is on says:
When Taylor Swift walks through a store and sees an item she likes, she thinks…you belong with me! “I love shopping for clothes,” Taylor told MATH. But between recording, touring, acting, and everything else on her schedule, it’s hard to find much time for the mall. “When I do get a moment to shop, I try to get as much as possible,” she said. When buying many items at once, it can be hard to keep track of how much money you’re spending. But does Taylor cry teardrops on her guitar? No, she just uses mental math to estimate. It’s simple: In your head, round all the prices on the tags and add them up. Then, when you get to the register, you won’t be surprised by not having enough money for everything! In our questions, you’ll go shopping with Taylor. With estimation and mental math, you’ll be pretty swift! –by Linda Buchwald
And the fake brands are like “guess not” “unlucky” “forever 12” “American ostrich”!!! LOL.
Also they have ‘Skylight: Factor Fantasy”: (**cough cough kelly-spazzing-out cough cough jackie-still-likes-jacob-better cough cough**)
The first time I saw Edweird Sullen, I knew he was different. He’s gorgeous. And brave. And a 110-year-old vampire obseesed with finding the perfect hair gel. We meet secretly under the skylight in my kitchen and bake cookies. But there is another: J-Kub Blech, who can turn into a werewolf, then a bunny, and finally, a set of patio furniture. Do I date a guy older than my grandfather, or one who chews my shoes?
And some of the problems for that one are like:
Edweird has to check his hair every 28 minutes. How many factors does 28 have, including one and itself?
Edweird says it’s not true that vampires are afraid of garlic. They’re afraid of waffles, canned asparagus, wrapping paper, garbage trucks, spiders, and actor Billy Ray Cyrus, but not garlic.
The Volturkeys are a very powerful group of feathered vampires who can only be destroyed with gravy. They have all sorts of crazy rules, such as: If I want to date Edweird, I have to be turned into a vampire and list all the factors of 52.

Watermelon Bomb!
In the middle of the night, our watermelon exploded. My sister saw it this morning. There were watermelon pieces scattered all over the kitchen floor and watermelon juice almost everywhere.
This reminds me of something my mom told me. Apparently there's a video of someone, who's supposed to sling a watermelon somewhere---kind of like a slingshot, but bigger---and the watermelon bounces back and hits the dude in the face.
Thanks Kelly, for sending me the link to the "How Not To Fire a Watermelon Out of a Huge Slingshot" video.

So I have my own YouTube Channel now! It's so invigorating to upload videos lol. The links I posted earlier were to two of my first videos, starring my sister Michelle and her friend Esther. My Channel is CousinOfPeterPan and my friends will get that haha.
P.S. Peter is very selfish and won't share the pixie dust! That's why I can't fly ;)

My Crazy Adventure:
After waiting like 20 minutes after the library closed, my mom and grandma still hadn't shown up. Michelle (younger sis) and I both need to go to the bathroom, so I decide to walk to Reichler Park and use the bathroom there. When we get close, we decide not to go after all and we head back. My mom and grandma decided to arrive at the library during the brief period that we're gone, and we come back to find them panicking. I doubt they're going to let us out of their sights for a while.

I had a horrible day today.
Yes, it was my first day of high school. First of all, my bus never showed up. I later found out that it broke down and was right outside our development. I had two minutes to find my orientation room and spent five of them wandering around on the first floor before realizing that my room was on the third floor. So I was late. After trying out my locker I didn’t realize that we were supposed to go back to our orientation rooms, being the dummy that I am. So I ran down to the first floor, found the gym, realized there was no one there, went to my health room (I have health for the first marking period), found it full of kids I didn’t know, and finally found my orientation room, coming in right in the middle of VTN Announcements with the teacher giving me a look because it was my second time being late. I have Orchestra with stupid Mr. Gopal (my friend told me he was mean, as he filled in for her orchestra director who was on maternity leave). I already have homework for Advanced Algebra II and Honors Government & Economics. We have to write an essay for G/E, and it’s due on Monday. And from what my friends told me, Honors English I is a LOT of work. I have English tomorrow. Yay!
Just kill me now!

Canada!
So, I went on a vacation to Canada. I got back yesterday. We went to Niagara Falls, Toronto, Ottawa, and 1000 Islands. I am posting stuff about my trip and pictures. Some might be sideways. The first hotel we went to had an AWESOME sink!!! I want one like it when I grow up.
So I took a picture of it. *sheepish face* Actually, I took pictures of lots of stuff that I probably shouldn't have wasted camera space/battery on but I thought was cool so I did.
I must say that I am practically obsessed with like castles and ivy grown over arches and walls and fairy tales and renaissance stuff and medieval stuff and just...stuff like that. So later, when you get to Casa Loma, don't...say anything. :)
A couple pictures of Niagara Falls-granted, not very good pictures, but they're pictures. Niagara Falls was so pretty!
Zebra-Stripe Umbrella that someone had. I like zebra stripes, and I couldn't resist.
Ha ha! They're missing an L!!!
There was a picture and why is the part that I closed-up on even in it?! Made no sense at all
Cute thing! I don't know what animal it is! I think it's a chipmunk but I'm not sure...
Michelle: I'm Harry Potter!
Okay, so Casa Loma is an unfinished castle that belonged to Sir Henry Pellat. Here's my brief summary of his life:
First he set a record for the mile run, then he became a stock-broker, then he was successful, then he married his high-school sweetheart, then he made investments and stuff, and he brought electricity that Thomas Edison created to Toronto, and he started having the castle built, then he and two other people invested in hydroelectricity (or whatever the word is), but some other dude decided that he didn't want Sir Henry Pellat and the other people to get money so he made a speech about how the power should belong to the people, so Sir Henry Pellat and Co. wasted time and money, then other bad stuff happened, then Pellat's wife died, then he got kicked out of his house because of debts, then he remarried, then his wife died, then he miserably moved from house to house, then there was a party, and then Sir Henry Pellat died. I might have mixed up the order or left stuff out. Anyone who really cares can search him up. Most of everything I learned about him was from a video with bad grammar (This film will begin in 1 Minutes) that I watched quite a few days ago, so I'm pretty impressed by what I managed to remember.
Cool...gazebo?...thing. Does anyone think of Alice in Wonderland? The real-people one.
BALCONY! *cue music: Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone...* (my favorite song and if you don't know what it is...shame on you! I mean, they only play it on the radio every two minutes.)
I think some kids were on a field trip or something. I heard one of them ask the teacher/tour guide/whoever-he-was, "Whoa! Did King Arthur live here?!" And the teacher/tour guide/whoever-he-was sighed with exasperation and told the obnoxious kid no-King-Arthur-wasn't-from-this-time-period.
This is the statue with the legend (it's sideways):
Door that I couldn't open:
This made me laugh for some reason:
This surprised me:
*gasp!* wardrobe! Narnia! Overly-obsessive nerds!
I spotted people in an area that was roped off, so I assume you're not supposed to go there. LOL.
What does this mean?!
Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair...
If I were a princess, I would stand here:
Places:
We saw the Canadian soldiers switching-guards ceremony. Such a knock-off of the British version. I spent most of the time snickering and trying to take pictures of the kilt-wearing, bagpipe-playing soldiers.

Cool fountain with fire:
My dad being weird (actually I told him to do that):
At this science museum they had a Harry Potter exhibition! I was so excited and here are pictures that I oh-so-obsessively took:
In the gift shop they had sections w/ shop-names from the series!!! Here are a couple of them:
Cheap plastic broomsticks in a bucket. If only they could fly...
I don't remember where I took this picture but it looked cool
We also went to the Canadian Parliament and this is the Awesome-Sauce (Mr. Arboleta) ceiling at the top of the tower!
Not-so-funny-story-even-though-Jackie-thinks-it-is: We were in Chinatown (*eyeroll*). Of course my parents want to go eat there. My sister and I hear Ke$ha's "Your Love is My Drug" playing and she says, "Look, there's a Ke$ha lion!"
Michelle: "The parrot is eating it's foot!"
This has got to be the worst name for a food stand ever:
There was also a restaurant called Yuki Sushi. At first I thought it was Yuk! Sushi. My mom looked at it and said, "Is that called Yucky Sushi?" Also when we saw The Last Song in Wal-Mart, she asked, "Isn't that Cily Myrus?"
And here the pictures end. Now some random stuff that I have to talk about:
There was a market-thingcalled "Lucky Charm Moose Village" in Chinatown. The chinese words said "Golden Cow City"! I got really worked up. I mean, seriously?! How do you take "Golden Cow City" and turn it into "Lucky Charm Moose Village"?!
We saw a restaurant called "Big Fat Burrito". And a sign that said "We <3 'em big and fat!"
At a (chinese, of course) restaurant that we had lunch at, which I didn't even want to eat at, a man walked by with a pig carcass within 5 minutes of us being there! I was really grossed out but no one else seemed to have noticed him.
Wow. http://dalailamatoronto2010.org/. Kappians should know why.
At a Canada/Toronto gift shop there were these "Oh Canada! Fatty Collection" pencil cases or something. I wanted to take a picture but my mom said no.
When we went to the NC Tower, we got lost in the parking lot. We exited to find a hallway w/ 2 two doors on either end. We took the left one, climbed three staircases, found a locked door, went back down, tried the other door, found out we were in the completely wrong zone, reparked the car, and finally got to the Tower. Which wasn't that exciting except for the glass floor. Which my DAD was scared to go on. Just like the last time he visited for a business trip or something.
We also, after eating lunch, walked into the wrong parking lot. After finally figuring-out that we parked our car somewhere else, we went to the parking-lot next door.
Considering the parking-lot fiasco the day before, I thought the next day would be better. Not so. We got lost trying to find our way out of the zoo!
My swimsuit also ripped :(
I met an adorable 7-year-old girl named Athena! My sister just started ranting about how she met her first and that I was bothering her. So now I'm annoyed. Michelle always bothers me when I'm on the computer. Does it even matter?! Even if Michelle met her first, does that mean I didn't? Jeez. Michelle: "You forgot to mention that I met her first." WHO CARES?! Spoiled little brat.
I don't want to end this post on a bad note, so I will conclude by saying that I enjoyed my one-week respite from endless homework, and now I have to go because my mom's been pestering me to get ready to go to the library even though earlier she told me that I was grounded until I finished my summer reading assignment but I have NO idea what/how to write my theme statement (on) but I'm not going to remind her that she grounded me. And I should also probably get to work on my theme statement.
